Sports briefs: Ski Otters perform Sundays at Little Goose Lake

The Ski Otters will be holding water ski shows on Sunday, Aug. 22 and Sunday, Aug. 29 on Little Goose Lake in White Bear Lake. There are bleachers at the lake for about 150 people, but they fill up quickly so it's a good idea to bring lawn chairs. Admission if free for the 6 p.m. show, but free will donations supporting the team are encouraged.

Aspen Chamber Resort Association lost 40 members last year

ASPEN — The Aspen Chamber Resort Association had a net loss of 40 members and about $42,000 in revenues from membership dues between its 2008 and 2009 fiscal years, President and CEO Debbie Braun said Friday.
